About CHESS Disability Employment Services

We are local, not for profit, operating successfully since 1995 as the longest running local provider of specialised Employment Support Services. We train and support the person to work readiness before sending them to you. We offer a personalised service, keep in contact, and provide onsite support and can offer workplace modifications where necessary.

• We work with small numbers of jobseekers at any one time to allow us the time to dedicate to working with Employers.

• We are funded to provide long-term employment support to employers and employees

• We provide wage subsidies for employees working as little as 8 hours per week.

• We provide pre-employment experience through our CHESS activities in horticulture, cash handling, customer service, retail, produce handling and produce packing.

• We can facilitate training and provide information to educate existing workers on mental health and disability awareness and on the benefits of a diverse workforce

We also employ dedicated professional consultants who believe in finding the right person for the right job.
